Flat roofs are no longer the problem and hassle that they used to be, thanks to the Sarnafil roofing system from the Swedish technology giant, Sika. Gone are the days of leaking seams and soggy, moss-infested chippings; a Sarnafil roof is constructed to last at least forty years, and we’re proud to be an approved Sarnafil installer.
We’ve fitted just about every type of flat roof over the years, and we’re constantly looking for the best solution for our customers. When we came across the Sarnafil system we were instantly impressed, not just by the standards and support, but by the fact that Sika understands that even the best flat roofing system is only as good as the quality of its installation. Put simply, if you want to install a Sarnafil roof, you have to demonstrate you’re up to the task.
Attaining approval is a rigorous project, involving detailed and lengthy training, close examination of no fewer than ten completed projects, and regular random quality checks. But we saw it as a highly worthwhile investment; we’d identified the best roofing system on the market and we wanted to offer our customers the best.
We’re pleased to say that we satisfied Sika’s criteria with flying colours, giving you the assurance that your new flat roof will not only look superb, it’ll carry on giving its best for many decades to come.
As a registered Sarnafil installer we’re authorised to give you the backing of Sika’s Roof Assured scheme. That starts with a 15 year manufacturer-backed warranty, and it’s backed up with assurances of environmental responsibility, best practice and independent certification by the BBA.
Ask to see our Roof Assured identity card – it’s your guarantee that we meet the stringent requirements of one of the world’s leading construction organisations.
The Sarnafil roofing membrane is dimensionally stable and impervious to extremes of temperature. It’s also UV resistant, so there’s no need for a layer of chippings to collect moss and soil or to cause puncture problems some time in the future. We finish the edges and joins with a weld technology that’s even stronger than the membrane itself, and pipes, skylights and other intrusions are positively sealed using Sarnafil-approved and patented tapes and sealants.
It looks superb just left as it is, but the system is completely compatible with other coverings like decking, paving or even a roof garden.
When the BBA independently assessed the system to have a life expectancy in excess of forty years, they knew exactly what they were talking about!
